BV Capital traces its history as a team to the early days of the Internet and has occupied a front row seat in the evolution of this dynamic industry ever since.
In the early 90s, BV Capital’s senior professionals created one of the world's first multimedia online services VideoTel and subsequently architected the joint venture between America Online and Bertelsmann.
After building AOL Germany into a successful business, the team moved to California to start BV Capital’s first fund and to invest in portfolio companies such as Expertcity that emerged as category-leaders in their markets.
