MrTed welcomes customers to 2008 EMEA User Conference

MrTed were delighted to host the latest installment of their global user conference program with the 2008 EMEA customer conference.
Customers from a wide range of backgrounds and industries joined MrTed employees and guest speakers for a one day conference focusing on the theme “MrTedTalentlink Unleashed”
“This year’s conference was looking to focus on our enterprise product, MrTedTalentlink. We hear from many customers requesting ideas on stretching the efficiency of their teams and we wanted to give them some help to extend their deployments of our software with systems and tools provided by some of our premium partners” says conference organizer Tim Jones, of MrTed’s Client Services Organization.
An early start launched a series of sessions focusing on recruitment topics and tools. Included in the day were three guest speakers, providing specialist commentary on value added services provided by MrTed, CV parsing and matching partner Burning Glass, testing and screening partner SHL and corporate social networking specialists Select Minds.
A valuable session focused the attendees on the subject of deploying employee referral programs, with breakout groups giving groups the chance to listen to the practical experiences of other companies and to share ideas and views on problems and successes.
“These events are an essential element in our strategic push for excellence in customer service. There are not many opportunities to bring your customers out of their offices and into a more social setting, these EMEA clubs let them meet other customers and form new working relationships and allow us the chance to get to know them better.” says Jones.
MrTed hosts national and regional conferences every year, the 2008 EMEA event followed closely the Polish national conference. Events are advertised through the MrTed customer portal, MrTed Connect (http://connect.mrted.com), where customers will also find follow-up information from the Employee Referral Deployment session for future reference.
