Sonos Appoints Carl Calabria as Vice President Product Development

Calabria will oversee product development from Sonos’ Cambridge, MA headquarters and will report to Sonos CEO John MacFarlane.
Calabria brings more than twenty years of engineering management experience to the Company. Before joining Sonos, Calabria served as Vice President of Engineering at computer video pioneer Avid Technology. Prior to Avid, Calabria led the hardware engineering team for Pinnacle system’s broadcast division in Mountain View, CA. Calabria accepted an Emmy award for pioneering work in full-motion PC-based video and was identified by Videography magazine as the “Father of Desktop Video”.
